U.S. BANK WIRES

For what it is worth. Money was wired to us from Arizona May 14th around noon. The wire did not hit our Bank Account until the afternoon of May 17th, where as since it was wired around noon on the 14th it should have been in our account that day.

Our Bank called the 17th to notify us that if we had been expecting a wire transfer that it was there now. They were apologizing and said they had no idea why the wire transfer was held up and there was no explanation provided to them either. This was a wire to a Business Account. Such lengthy delays in Wire Transfers without being notified there will be a delay can reek some serious havoc so this is just a heads up. Also, it could be the amount, perhaps small wire transfers within the US are not being held up.

I have had six figure wires sent to my accounts, and have had to wait overnight at the very least, to over 48 hours before the funds became available as well...

This should put others on notice that the "wired cash ins" being in your account and available within 20 minutes is bogus...

For what it's worth...

Up until this wire transfer, we have always received the funds from all wire transfers the same day as long as the wire was initiated by 1:00 or 2:00 p.m. and the next day if after the cut off time.

This was a first for us but it has been a couple months since we had a wire transfer. The amounts are large (7 figure). But I do think as az-tex pointed out, best not to expect any wire to go through that same day, not now anyway and if it does then that's good. I imagine it will only get worse, not better for a while anyway.
