Translations

Is it just me,or do some of the translations seem confusing?

I would think that any number of members have friends or relatives fluent in Arabic and it's associated dialects,or perhaps we even have Arab speaking members right here?
If so,and they are inclined,perhaps we could ask them to assist us from time to time,in translating some of the news articles we receive,to get an overall clearer picture?
Many of those who post,have contacts in Iraq who are surely bi-lingual,so I do not see it as being too difficult to do.
The intel providers receive their information straight out of the "sandpit",I am guessing from English speaking Iraqi's,perhaps those contacts could do the translating of news articles more accurately?
The online translators tend to give us the gist of the conversation,but are not entirely satisfactory.
I had a Syrian girl friend once a few years ago,but have lost touch with her,otherwise I am sure Oula would have been more than happy to assist us with this.

You know, Dinarstar, Arabic is written right to left. You have to read the translation right to left also. That way it makes perfect sense. But, not to me.

Sometimes I get so confused just trying to make sense of my mother tongue,a few bits and pieces thrown in from Eastern Europe,Africa,and English.
I wonder at times if I am not reading it diagonally,down to up,left to right or all of that at once...
