The Banks in the ME are open. CBI opens at 11:00 PM PST Saturday night, so Okie's window would only be a couple hours on Saturday.

There may be others but I am aware of one bank that IS open on Sundays, its called "Sun Bank" and they are in a few of the Walmart stores in Arizona. Now its possible that tomorrow will be an exception for being open, but they are usually open on Sundays.
As to what Okie has claimed, well we will just have to wait and see, the truth will become clear in a few hours. Hopefully he is correct, this time. Easter Bunny's lay eggs and time will tell if this is one of them.. :albino:

I was under the impression that when Kuwait had their RV it was during the week in the middle of the day ....why does this one have to be in the night when all banks closed..do the airport currency exchange shut down at all?

An RV is not an RI. Kuwait never RV'd like some out in the dinar world claim. You can search for yourself the history of the value of the KWD on the global market on sites like oanda.com or xe.com. If you click on history and go back to the invasion, you see its never lost value. Only the STREET value dropped when the kuwaitis dumped their kwd for usd cuz the banks were all closed etc. But when they reopened, they reinstated the value and exchanged the kwd. There is a whole history on it and captnjerry has been nice enough to post it many times on here. But since I just got home from the bar and dont feel like doing anything more than answer this one post, I wont look it up. LOL! BUT... if I am awake early enough tomorrow, I will bump it for you so you can see the reality of how the KWD really went down. Doesn't anyone care that this misinformation hurts others and is definitely not the fruits God wants each of us to bare??? As someone who first handed witnessed a bank stay open all night through Y2K and know that banks are updated nightly, I do have to consider how it is plausable that there could be another glitch with this??? Y2K which was of course globally as well. I also have to wonder how the stock market as one example runs so smoothly and yet this has all these problems.

I would like to take this time to thank Okie for all that he does to provide information to his site. Okie know that I am praying for you as would be difficult on a daily basis to work your heart out for all of us and have to hear the negative of those who take getting this information for granted. I really think it's time for all of us to ban together and spend some time thanking Okie and all the other intel workers for all of there hard work. Happy Easter to all of you this Easter season. Must have hit the wrong button when sending this the first time, sorry if it posted twice. Just my opinion. I used to come to OOM quiet often to get information
and formulate my own opinions as well as other sites. I have come to
realize from lots of research that there has been lots of misinformation
given by sources out there. I have read through lots of garbage as
well as some good information, but it was I who decided what was good or
not. It does no one any good to be overly critical of others. Ones
faith should never be questioned, especially Okies. The only perfect
human that ever walked the face of the earth is no longer with us. So
when I think that there has only been 1 human in all of mankind to have
been perfect, I can certainly forgive some of the information being put
out there. I do not believe Okie is trying to mislead anyone, he is
doing the best he can with what is being given to him. Thank you Okie.
The bottom line is that we all have a choice to be on this site or not.
I also feel there still needs to be more house cleaning on this site.
Just sayin.
