As for your bank account question. The banks don't care how many bank accounts you have with them as they look at it as just another way to add more service charges if an when needed. To them it is all digital.

I had a friend once that worked as a Maintenance man at a bank here in my town. We met once to have lunch together and he told me that just the other day he had to unload a whole pallet of forms for the bank from the pallet and store them in the bank. I asked what the forms were and he said they were "Over Draft letters" that they used to notify customers of overdraft charges to their account. When I asked about what kind of charge there was fro that action he told me that each letter would notify the customer that a $15.00 overdraft fee was charges to their account.

Imagine that! I was even more surprised is that the bank generally gets a new shipment of these forms about every other month or so as needed. The though of this alone is Mind boggling.

And you think banks are not a FOR profit business? The richest people in town are bankers, lawyers and doctors. Not necessarily in that order. Bankers for centuries (actually back to the money changers in the temple) have historically charged fees for their services. THEY never loose.

Don't you think this may be a strategy of the banks by constantly putting off the revaluation to the point where they hope everyone will accept the low rate while they make millions off of our ignorance? Just something to think about..... JMO

More a case of what I do not believe. and that would be the whole global conspiracy thing. I find the arguments and so called evidence unconvincing, paranoia filled and slightly antisemitic. In addition, the so called whistle blowers putting that stuff out have been about as accurate as Tony.
