Weak Summit

It is coming out that the Prince of Saudi, King of Jordan "Alllawi and Barzan' are not/did not attend the Arib Summit. Sounds like Maliki pulled another fast one and did not/is not delivering. We will just have to see how this unfolds. As far as we are concerned it appears to be a very weak Summit. You will see this coming out today. Blessings and Go RV

What Iraq needs to do is take Maliki out to the public square and hang him once and for all. This guy makes no bones about wanting to be the next dictator of Iraq. All the stalling and backstabbing he has done in the last 11 years proves that. He should have been taken out long ago along with al Sadr.

Yep. Maliki sure isn't helping Iraq or us. Never has.

So much for the Iraqi's "boasting" to the rest of the ME on how great they are recovering....Even IF the plan was to RV during the summit to prove the economic strength, there would only be a "fizzle" now. Well - Looking forward to June/Sept/2013 now....

That's great, just great. Looks like the $500M they spent for the Summit didn't return much bang for the buck (no pun intended)..

I think this Arab Summit just may be comparable to a Boyscout convention here in the U.S.

Maybe a little bigger........ throw in a few "Eagle Scout" medals and I think we are there!!

I am not a negative person and I dont have negative things happen to me. Nothing happened to ME personally with regards to this Arab Summit, but I was expecting it to be exactly as it ended up being because of how they handle things over there. If you read the news, the Middle East countries dont like each other much. And many have voiced their opinions of Maliki and it didnt surprise me that several countries didnt show. I am not shocked nor upset at all with how things are going because I dont listen to any of the gurus claims but i stick with the news and so far, its always been pretty on target. I also am not hung up on WHEN this will happen, as some people are. The moment that someone gives up that target they dont get upset when guru dates come and go. And thats the ONLY people saying the 'rv' is close. So far the CBI still says they will start in Sept and we will see if they change that date again or not. So far they are stickin with it.

I really dont understand why some people think that not jumping on the bandwagons of the gurus makes you a negative person. And sorry, but bad things happen to good people to so to say things like 'negative things will happen to negative people' doesnt make much sense to me. I also know alot of good things that have happened to very bad and negative people lol so kinda blows that theory as absolute. Smile

My suggestion to everyone, as its been for years, is stick with following the news and not the rumors from the gurus and you wont be disappointed when dates come and go. Follow Miske's lead and stick with articles. It makes for a much less emotional ride on this 'investment' Smile

I'm not reading TRB's post as negative. After reading her posts for many months, she has proven to be more grounded than most, and cheers to her for that. The way the gurus have hyped at every opportunity is what creates the negative when nothing they build up comes to fruition. I wish I was as grounded as TRB.

Aww thanks! I appreciate that. And I was serious with Punisher, I wanted to know what he expected from this event. I wasnt trying to be rude or anything, just was curious on what some people expected from it. I know that what the gurus were pushing was bigger than what was being stated in the news (as usual). If some people remember, I posted that the same things were stated before every other big event regarding Iraq so dont get your hopes up for something from this. I guess that makes me negative..... Well I can say at least I am not dealing with the emotional roller coaster others are on. Got off that ride years ago and by stickin with news, I dont get upset anymore. Much more relaxing and calm now Smile
