I drove for a total of 15 years, logged about 2 million miles. I would still probably be out there but my health failed to a point that I had to quit at the end of 2005. My hat is off to the men and women that move the goods around this country.

Yeah, if the people ever wonder why everything is getting more expensive all they have to do is look at the price of diesel fuel. Isn't it amazing how it sells for more than gasoline but is cheaper to make. Ya think somebody is screwing the truckers in this country? Well, we know it couldn't be the big oil companies. Yaaaahhhhhhahahahaha, no-not them.

I always pondered something. A trucker has to have an endorsement to pull doubles, but a 16 year old kid with absolutely NO training can drive a motor home with a boat on one trailer and pulling another trailer with stuff on it behind that. Why is that?

Probably the same logic that allows some 80 year old to drive a 45 foot RV (not THE rv) on parkways where you can't drive any truck bigger than a 3/4 ton pick up.

I promised my hubby I would purchase a ZR1 and put his name on the plate. He died looking for the rv with the rest of us, due to asbestos from service. So I think I will have to fulfill my promise and understand they go pretty fast.
