It's monday night, 9:04CST. I'm flying from Texas to Idaho tomorrow morning (3/20/12) and need to know something. How much Dinar can I take with me on the plane incase this R/Vs while I'm gone? Since no one nows how long a possible high rate will last if there is one. I'll be gone for a week and don't want to miss out on the opertunity.
Thanks

My opinion....If you are in Idaho and it RV's at a high rate, hit the first flight home and go take care of business... ☀

I would take one or two bills with you. If it happens while you're gone, you are covered. If it doesn't, and the TSA takes it from you, not much lost.

One thing...as far as I know, reading a recent report that was posted, here or perhaps on Recaps, one can travel with as much currency as you wish internally,as long as you declare it correctly...now,IQD is not trading, yet,so take what you need, declare it to TSA,and all should be good.
I cannot find that report right now,but it was from the official website, sorry,I have to be up early,I am sure someone here will remember it and can bring it up for you, good luck.

Everytime ether my wife or I get on a plane, like last night, we carry both IQD and VND, how much, lets just say enough, Why, we have one account with two of the four majors that are not in our state, but they are pretty much everywhere else. So if it RV's while we are traveling, we can deposit in either or both of the banks here in the lower 48.

I believe that you have to declare any money equal to $10,000 or more. At this stage, you would have to be carrying 10 million dinar in order to be required to declare it. However, since the Dinar is not recognized, you could probably carry 10 billion and would not be in any trouble. Just a collector's item at this point. Kind of like carrying 10 million in monopoly money. Just mho, of course...I don't have any impeccable sources for my info.

The 10k is the number that is for international travel, not within the US.
