With all due respect to Okie and others here. I want everyone to stay grounded, and dont be disappointed if no RV tomorrow. I believe and this is just my opinion, that we will see it before the Arab Summit. There seems to be a general urgency with Iraq to get alot of things accomplished quickly before then.
Stay grounded. Please review old posts in the Okie and wingmen forum. Here are a few dates to look at March 17th, March10, March 7th, Feb 25th, Feb 1st, Jan 1st, Dec 18th, Dec 10th Nov 3rd, Oct 17th, Sept 27th, etc etc.
I am sure they give us the best they get. Just use common sense, keep faith, and stay grounded, if the RV does not happen tomorrow.

18/03/2012 BAGHDAD / not / A member of the parliamentary Finance Committee Faleh applicable, the registered companies in the Iraqi market for securities is the reason Riisa the high value of the U.S. dollar against the Iraqi dinar, indicating that the central bank has promised to reduce its value in the next few days. He said in effect, in a press statement received by the Agency "Secrets News / We are not" on Monday that "the central bank is responsible for fiscal policy and therefore obligated to take measures and controls to preserve the value of Iraqi dinar," adding that "measures the bank last did not work in raising the value of the dinar Iraqi and inquire about this thing called the Governor of the Central Bank and told me that the measures developed but not implemented by 100% and the promise of its application in the coming days which will then significantly decreased the value of U.S. dollar against the Iraqi dinar. "
He said in effect that "the companies registered with the Iraqi market for securities is the main reason for this and that because it trades in its share of the dollar that you receive from the bank by selling instead of buying them as currency for goods and goods". He ruled out a member of the Finance Committee to decrease the value of the U.S. dollar significantly or return as it was. And the decline of the Iraqi currency exchange rate in a banner during the past few days against foreign currencies, particularly the U.S. dollar, raising fears among the citizens of the continuing decline. And Some attribute this decline to an asylum Central Bank of Iraq to implement more stringent measures in the recent past regarding its sales of hard currency, especially the dollar, which has led to a lack of circulation of U.S. currency in the markets and increase demand and thereby increase its value against the dinar, but others believe that currency's decline is due mainly to the withdrawal of America and the growing divide between politicians, threatening the stability of the country.
On the other hand said a member of the Finance Committee Faleh force that his committee will form a small committee of its members to amend the retirement law is oppression and injustice raises for retirees. He said in effect that "the Finance Committee determined to amend the retirement law provides a rewarding salary can be retired from the face of the difficult conditions of life." He added that "the Finance Committee has taken its first steps to improve the conditions of pensioners increased by approving a financial amount of 50 000 Daina on pensions of less than 400 thousand dinars."
The House of Representatives has approved a vote on the budget during the financial grant for the current year retirees who paid less than 400 thousand dinars, an increase of 50 000 financial Deyaar amendment of the law until retirement. He said in effect that "the amendment to the law of the forthcoming retirement would end the distinction between the salaries of retirees." Ended

Maliki prepares for talks with the blocks side by the National Conference
Plans to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki do several meetings with representatives of the political blocs before the Arab summit conference later this month in order to provide a suitable platform for the National Conference. Sources told (range) yesterday, "said Maliki would put a compromise to require the Iraqi National Congress before the Arab summit through intensive meetings with representatives of the political blocs.
The electrodes: It was agreed to implement the terms of the rest of Erbil, which have not been implemented and be the first item to the terms of a working paper of the Conference, and solve the political problems that took place after the formation of the government, expressing optimism about the success of the National Congress after the results of today's meeting.
He pointed out that the meeting concluded that the formation of structure of the Conference, and the formation of a sub-committee of the Preparatory Committee, to prepare a working paper of the Conference, saying: that the meeting stressed the need for the success of the National Congress, but they did not set a date for the conference, noting that the agreement guarantees held by the Arab Summit.

But they arent... this is about THE meeting... that we are waiting for ... the NATIONAL CONFERENCE... to resolve ALL outstanding issues and go to the Arab Summit aas a full working GOI...

It is becoming more clear with each passing hour the people of Iraq have had enough BS and empty words from people like Al Maliki and others including Shabibi who talk a lot and do a little. Time is running out for these guys... its time to act in the manner they were elected or chosen for. The elites everywhere think and act the same way... its always All about them.
Iraq wants a lot but is not acting in its own behalf to strengthen the ties and make the deals (not the behind the closed door deals that by every interest and law Should be illegal).
I will make a prediction now that if this Arab summit fails because Iraq just blew it there will be a huge civil upheaval and heads will roll...In Iraq that may be literally the case.

yes we are getting closer and closer to the point tht maliki will not be able to stop it .if he does and they do not do it before the summitt saudi arabia will walk out and probably other countries will also. there national pride will turn into civil unrest since malki will not be able to bs himself out of this. also iraq will be the laughing stock of the world besides billions spent for this.lastly moon wto imf un etc will not bend over backwards for them again

punisher at this point only 2 choices rv or no rv now if m has his way there will not be an rv plain and simple. if this happens there is no way m can cover this up to the people and you will have civil unrest as well as m being replaced.. the world will look at iraq as a real joke and do not think for a second thewto imf un wb gcc will bend over and kiss there arse as they have done now. i am still betting because of nejaf and tabnni it gets done in the last second

Jayzze, On your last I say this...In my mind I believe that the "plan" is where it is supphosed to be. In that I say Maliki, Talabani, and Shabibi. Have known for quite some time. I mean look at it like this for a second. All gets done at the last minute and (like now) peeps around the world (except the planners and associated powers) are looking and thinking "no way iraq will pull this off" then all of a sudden, BAM, Iraq appears to work miracles at the last minute and seems more like GREAT HEROS to the entire Arab world. Beaten down by the great eagle to rise from ashes. The shinning star is born.

rick i really hope so but ihave many middle eastern accounts and there mind set is so different then ours and they have such arrogrance it unreal. what should be a no brainer i am worried they just might do the opposite but am hopping since all the me countries and moon will be there maybe najaf will do the right thing
