Question about 10,000 Dinar notes! Empty Question about 10,000 Dinar notes!

Post by openfreer Mon Mar 12, 2012 2:24 pm

Good Afternoon! I never hear any reference to 10,000 Dinar notes - it is always the 25,000 Dinar notes - I wonder why that is - probably because who has time to list all the different size notes - now here is the dumb question when it is time to cash-in a Dinar is a Dinar and does any care what type of note it is: 25,000, 10,000 or 5,000 and so on down the line - just wanted to hear some one confirm that - I always wondered when people buy Dinar how and what determines the type of note they buy. Thank you in advance for your response - my question I know is confusing - I think I want to know do banks at cash-in look for certain notes over other types? I guess I best stop here. Warmest Regards!!!

Question about 10,000 Dinar notes! Empty Re: Question about 10,000 Dinar notes!

Post by oregonboy Mon Mar 12, 2012 6:16 pm

Another reason people buy 25,000 Dinar notes is because on Dinar Banker they cost less than 10,000 Dinar notes or 5,000 Dinar notes. Also the greater the total amount, the greater the savings.

(This is excluding the shipping.)

For 100,000 Total of 25,000 Dinar notes = $45/ 25,000 Dinar note

For 250,000 Total of 25,000 Dinar notes = $30/ 25,000 Dinar note

For 100,000 Total of 10,000 Dinar notes = $55/ 25,000 Dinars

For 250,000 Total of 10,000 Dinar notes = $33/ 25,000 Dinars

For 100,000 Total of 5,000 Dinar notes = $57/ 25,000 Dinars

For 250,000 Total of 5,000 Dinar notes = $35/ 25,000 Dinars

I hope this helps.

No, it does not matter what denomination you hold. The rate is per dinar, no matter what denomination its in.

Question about 10,000 Dinar notes! Empty Re: Question about 10,000 Dinar notes!

Post by DevaronDLH Mon Mar 12, 2012 11:42 pm

There is a post on another site that is talking about $10,000 = 200,000 Dinars. If true the equation is .20 cents (USD) per Dinar.
At this time there has been NO Rv in Iraq or outside of Iraq concerning the IQD so we will have to wait to see what the reality of this other post is about.

Its funny AMericans talk about dinar notes like they are CD's or bonds. IQD is currency. No preference from one to another except on the black market (dealers) During "cash-in" (should be referred to as the great trade back) at banks however you will be paid per dinar not per note. So the notes you hold do not matter. All that matters is the amount of dinars you have collectively.

therealbutterfly is correct.

*****************
In any case... Get as much dinar as you can and get it now. DO NOT BUY RESERVES!!!!. Find the best exchange rate you can and get it before time runs out. Might not happen today or tomorrow or until September, but the more you have the better off WE ALL will be.

Question about 10,000 Dinar notes! Empty Re: Question about 10,000 Dinar notes!

Post by therealbutterfly Tue Mar 13, 2012 10:08 am

I would love a nickel per dinar right now. The other site has some govt directive stating that they cant carry more than $10k usd or 200k dinar. But since no one can seem to produce the original one or any official document or website with this info, I would consider it suspect. ESPECIALLY seeing who is the one saying it, since he is known to hmmmmm..... lets say, 'embellish' military things? LOL!!!!

I hope it is true however, flying through Baghdad International, there has been a sign on the wall concerning no more than $10000 USD can be carried at a time. That's been since at least 2008. My guess is that they are opening up a new area that planes will be able to arrive. I hope this freakin RV's so I can go home but just so everyone knows, this isn't the first time there has been reference to this over there. I'm hoping this is a step in the right direction though.

Its not the USD part they are talkin about tho, its the statement of "equivilent to 200,000 dinar" that has them in a twitter. lol

I will say this, I believe the statement at BIAP was $10000 USD or equivalent so at least that's something. I wish the memo wasn't a US memo though. I would be a little bit giddier if it were an iraqi document.
