I wonder how many of these were the rats Okie and Bulldog talk about being rounded up.
As of Monday, March 5, 2012, Ballotpedia staff have counted 10 total current U.S. Senate incumbents who are not running for re-election in the 2012 elections.
As of Monday, March 5, 2012, Ballotpedia staff have counted 37 total current U.S. House incumbents who are not running for re-election in the 2012 elections.

Given that an incumbent usually runs and collects campaign monies beginning when his newest term starts for the next campaign - 99% of them.
Now the next question is - HOW MANY OF THESE NOT RUNNING INCUMBENTS WILL PAY BACK THE ALREADY COLLECTED CAMPAIGN MONIES? Any bets?
We still have a couple of RATS and a Larger one in question. Strange how all the web weaving eventually catches up to them and they get caught in their own web (spiders? Rats/spiders what's the difference?0
I think we ought to NOT vote for ANY incumbent. WHY TAKE THE CHANCE.

I sincerely wish we would vote in a completely new group into every office throughout the land. Start fresh with a newbies that believe in the constitution as written.
But no, we keep voting in the same ol same ol year after year.
If it looks good in a commercial then vote it in is how most people vote now days.

To answer the question that startd this thread, I don't think so, I thnk the UST has input, but not the power to push it along or hold it up,

The Iraqi's have said it will happen in September ... My guess is that it will continue to be "held up" until then to keep dinar sales going strong
