Fluff n stuff

I understand a little fluff and flirting scatterred through threads canhelp keep things light-hearted and sometimes cute.

That said, I have appreciated the information and cummunity sharing and opinions that have been expressed here, longer then I have been a member.

I am of the opinion that there are a few who are over pumping flirting and fluff and making it difficult to sort through for any real content. There are a couple threads where people have asked questions stating that they are missing an understanding of some posts and asked for clarification. These requests by members were replied to with multiple pages of responses, but nothing that would help the original poster get an understanding. Frequently the same posters repeatedly responding back and forth with non-content flirting, posting massive amounts of emoticons but nothing helpful. Some responses posting links to other posts on the forum, which might have been helpful if there was some capsulizing or summarizing of content. If someone says they are on information overload, the solution is not to jus tpump more information, it is to simplify and clarify. Anyone can get over 2000 posts on any forum if all they post is garbage in massiv quantities if little blurbs that only get in the way of anyone actually trying to use a forum for productive purposes. This shoudl not qualify them as "Elite" members.

And While I am off, I suppose, on a rant: If you do not want to get bashed by anyone do not do anything in life where anyone might see you. People do not all agree with each other and sometimes they get frustrated and it results in bashing. Granted deliberate bashing resolves nothing and helps nobody and should be avoided. I will add to this though, that just because someone disagrees with you and says so or points out that maybe there was a different way of doing soemthing does not mean that they are bashing. Of course over-bashing is like over-fluffing a forum, nobody wants to keep reading it and unless there is somethign constructive included, it is just wasting eveyrone's time.

IN PERSPECTIVE, I DONT CARE IF ITS OKIE OR DOKIE. THE REALITY IS IMOP. WE ARE ALL HERE FOR THE SAME REASON. DO WE TAKE A DAY AND DREAM BECAUSE SOME GURU SAID SOMETHING OR DO WE SIT BACK AND LIVE OFF OF ARTICLES AND INFO FROM A GOVERNMENT THAT DOES NOT WANT US TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY DOING. I CHOOSE TO DREAM A COUPLE TIMES A WEEK TILL OUR TIME COMES.
