UN official announced that Iraq had to pay four billion dollars in compensation to Kuwait in 2011

{Baghdad} Euphrates News Research and Minister of Foreign Affairs on Monday, with the UN official compensation imposed on Iraq.
According to a ministry statement received by {Euphrates News} on Monday, a copy of, "Hoshyar Zebari, met today the President of the Executive Council of the United Nations Compensation Hanov Schumacher, and the Executive Secretary of the Commission Mojtaba Gazzaza and the delegation accompanying them," adding that "the minister reviewed with the visiting delegation the development of issue of compensation imposed on Iraq under Security Council resolutions. "
He said Zebari, on "Iraq's commitment to the arrangements relating to compensation as reflected in the report of the Secretary-General of the UN report to the Security Council," he said on "Iraq's search for a final settlement to the issue of reparations and an end to this bleeding the financial by addressing all outstanding issues with Kuwait brother" .
This is between the visiting delegation that "Iraq in 2011 to pay nearly four billion dollars in compensation to Kuwait."
The two sides discussed prospects of cooperation between the Executive Council and Iraq in order to close this file as soon as possible. Finished.

It was a couple of days ago that a news piece mentioned $1 billion, now four more, thats progress.
