If I wake up tomorrow morning and discover the RV has come at 8.23 or 9.75 or 3.12 I am going to go and fire off my neighbors cannon... he did that four times on New Years night... woke the whole valley up!!! Bet he'd let me do it again for $100.

The Parade of Roses was today. Too bad the Parade of Lunatics is stealing its thunder in the Dinar world...

I just read one of the most frustrating posts in a long time. Most of you are like me and read quite a few sites so you will probably recognize the post... for the rest of you just know that these people are on the loose. Batten down the hatches and hide the womenfolk!

It is NOT going to RV for between $12 USD and $14 USD per dinar! Come on... you can't throw out numbers like that and sleep at night!

(A) I will be nice and use the rate $10 USD per dinar to squash this bug.
(B) Iraq's smallest (currently) used Denomination is the 50 dinar note.
(C) If "hitchhiker's" ( I made up this name... not the real poster's name or moniker) trip down the rabbit hole intel is correct, then post RV, the Iraqi citizen will find him or herself in a wonderful quandary asking these important questions: "I have these 50 dinar notes that I often used to buy small things. Now my 50 Dinar notes are worth $500 US Dollars EACH! (50 Dinar notes at $10 USD each = purchasing value equivalent $500 USD) How can I buy groceries? How can I get a soda? How can I pay the cab driver? Do I have to buy $500 worth of bread every time I want to eat? Do I have to just grin and bear it while I hand the cab driver a note worth $500 US Dollars for a trip that used to cost me just 2 US Dollars?
(D) If Shabibi is nuts... he can RV as this person suggests... and he will create inflation at about a million percent in the blink of an eye (for the math literate please know that the previous figure is merely a sarcastic slap... not real math)
(E) If they are NOT nuts, and decide to provide Iraqi citizens with new currency PRIOR to the RV (so they can buy bread and cigarettes) then they will have to make note or coin called the "atom"... named because of its tiny, tiny, tiny, very tiny, value.
(F) Actually the new coin (or heaven forbid, note) will have to be worth only 1,000th of a Dinar to equal the purchasing power of a US penny if they RV at $10 USD per dinar.
(G) By the way... the very popular 25,000 Dinar note, now worth about 2 movie tickets (In USD purchasing power) will be worth $250,000 (US).
(H) So the poor schmuck without electricity (and that is a big number of people right now) or television (there are a BUNCH more of these Iraqi's), or without internet (that is a HUGE number of Iraqi's!) that didn't HEAR that the RV happened and doesn't know that now his 25,000 Dinar note could buy him an exotic sports car... and a big screen TV (if they only had electricity!) is truly out of luck. He just mailed off his rent payment yesterday! Dang the luck.
(I) "Hitchhiker" would have to be an insensitive meanie to want some poor old lady in Iraq to give the cab driver a hundred thousand dollar tip on accident.
(J) Brainy folk would probably NOT choose this route... way too many obstacles... and besides, they still haven't handed out small denominations! See sarcastic comment (E)

STOP POSTING THE RATE NONSENSE. YOU KNOW DEEP IN YOUR HEART THAT YOU PULLED IT OUT YOUR XXXX, SO WHY WOULD WE WANT IT?

OK Ladies & Gentleman do you have real good support telling you about these rates or are they making these rates up based on whatever?? Can they back up what they tell you with real hard fact. Remember YOUR name is at stake here.

The only one that can be backed up with facts is $1.134!

3. Estimate the amended exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar to be used in technical and economical feasibility studies and for (1.134) dollar per dinar. This price should be approved for 3 years until re-appreciation by the competent authorities.

You know that your neighbor did not buy dinar, even though you told him over and over. He is going to be POed at you because you got rich and didn't keep badgering him until he made a purchase.

He is going to turn that cannon on you and start firing. The best thing you can do, as suggested by others, is to go buy yourself a bigger cannon...you know the same way that all nations do.
