[BondLady] so then in the last month
[BondLady] we see a lot of articles
[BondLady] sayin how the usd was raising in value
[BondLady] an the dinar was devalueing
[BondLady] due to troop withdrawl an unemployment an inflation
[BondLady] so then the cbi just kept on putting articles out almost daily or every other day
[BondLady] about the iqd devalueing
[BondLady] even to the point it said it was down to 1200 and something
[BondLady] and that the cbi was working on this to stop the loss an get back the gains of the iqd
[BondLady] even tho we saw every day that the cbi showed 1170
[BondLady] he still said it was 1200 something

[BondLady] they had to dry up the biggest part of the 000 that was in iraq

[BondLady] in these auctions u see them buying us dollars not selling dinars
[BondLady] they are useing the dinar to buy usd

[BondLady] he got the iraqis who have been hordeing there dinars waitin on a rv
[BondLady] to go and cash them in for usd

[BondLady] 100's of billons of dinar being used to buy usd
[BondLady] cause they were told the dinar was devalueing rapidly

I had read where someone else had said the same thing a week or so ago but BondLady said it best and explained it so well even I understood what is being done. It all makes a lot of sense. Thank you BondLady for your time and effort.

My question would be that if the dinar was 1200 to the dollar wouldn't that be the dinar being stronger, being that it takes less dinar to buy a dollar. Not a scare but a means to get more dollars out there. If the dinar went to 2000 to the dollar i think it would be a scare, but they would just hold on and hope it got better. I guess i understood it backwards maybe, that it was a good thing Shabibi did by dropping it to 1200 to get them to cash in their big denoms.

No. She is saying .1200 to 1 USD. Slightly less.
