Yea, I heard they were coming out with these several months ago. (Summer?) I understand some other countries have or are going to the polymer notes ... having spent years in retail, I have to wonder how they handle though? Could be a real pain if they are slippery or build a static charge ...

I lived in Australia for a while,a good few years back,and their notes were of a plastic/polymer type material,very durable.
I never had the slightest problem using it,I really liked the feel.
We have some members from down-under who may share something with us.
