You can not Purchase Dinar In The State of Illinois ...With Dinar Banker.

True Story ..My friend Ron and his Girl friend went online today to purchase 1 million Dinars...with dinar banker.com when pressing the enter button its kicked back there order and said call customer Service...they call DinarBanker and asked if they Live In the state of Illinois and they said yes Chicago???? and DinarBanker said that Obamo has stopped all Purchasing of Dinars In the State of Illinois and you can not even buy on Reserve.. Nada..?? Nothing??? So if you live in Illinois ..your Screwed This is a true storie Call Dinar Banker!!!!!..

My sister also lives in Illinois. She called Dinar Banker. She was told there was something wrong with her computer. She bought dinar a few months ago and wanted to purchase more. She called me. I live in CO. I tried using my computer with the same results. I called and spoke with a person that was distressed to tell me that no one in IL can purchase dinar. I bought the dinar for my sister and will have them delivered to my home. We have a gift letter ready for her.

I was hoping that you could clarify one point concerning your posting. When you tried ordering on behalf of your sister (living in Illinois), did you attempt to place an order using your sister's Illinois, or did you originally utilize your own CO address?

I placed an order with Dinarbanker on July 16th and had no trouble. I plan on calling Dinarbanker in the AM to get clarification.

Please post an update on what you find out. I had tried calling this evening, but they were already closed. I have appointments in the morning, or otherwise I would.

Assuming Illinois can no longer purchase from DB, I HIGHLY DOUBT that Obama had anything to do with it. More then likely the State's Attorney office has initiated an investigation or issued orders to cease and desist sales in Illinois due to some complaints there.

I tried using my sister's address. As soon as I put in Illinois the message comes up to call customer service. I did ask if I could buy and my sister could send the payment. I was told no. The person that I spoke to said there are SEC issues. He seemed to be getting distressed by our talk so I told him that was fine and hung up. If you live in Illinois you may ask someone from another state to buy for you. I was told that there is no way anyone from Illinois can buy dinar. My sister and one of her friends had bought dinar earlier with no problems.

Trepid: Thank you for your followup. When you live in the State of Illinois you quickly realize that corruption has no limits.

Nothing that the State of Illinois ever does surprises me anymore.

I just talked to Chris at DB. He told me that they are having licensing issues with the state of IL and they are hoping to have it resolved within 10 business days.

Like many of you, I also contacted Dinarbanker this morning. I have reservations about what really is the basis of Dinarbanker's decision not to place reserve order or sell Dinar's to residents of the State of Illinois.

During my conversation with the Dinarbanker representative, he would not commit to a time frame that the Illinois ban would be lifted. In a previous posting, another poster was told that Dinarbanker was hoping to have the problem corrected in the next ten days (paraphrasing). Even the verbiage given by the Dinarbanker employee's as to the rationale for the Illinois ban varied greatly.

I was told that any current layaway order could still be paid off. The ban appears to be only for new purchases and layaway orders.

I have contacted several sellers of Dinar this morning and in every case, they stated that they are still selling Dinar to residents of the State of Illinois.

Dinarbanker's inability to sell Dinar or place layaway orders appears to be isolated to Dinarbanker specifically.

A Layaway contract is 8 or 12 weeks (2 or 3 months)
A non refundable service fee for all new layaway contracts is $29.99
Twenty Percent (20%) down is required at time of purchase

All payments are to be made by Bankwire, Cashier's Check, or Money Order.

:o I had a layaway order that I had placed ahead, just needed to wire the funds on payday when this came up. I sent a ticket and was told to go ahead and wire the funds for the layaway to the new wiring instructions. Everything went fine. No problems. They said they should have it resolved in 8 to 10 days.

In the meantime, someone told me about dinarinc.com and I placed a different order there, liking the idea of being able to pay them off, or if something should happen, to be able to get the amount that is paid off. I see it as only a temporary glitch and it worked fine. I ended up finding another location to get some of my purchasing dinar from.

here's a problem I see that "may" take place nation wide. Me being a securities attorney in the past. Everybody is calling the Iraqi Dinar purchase an investment??? In this nation an investment must be registered with the securities exchange commission of each state, even exempted securities. Exempt securities can only sell 25 in each state where other securities are not limited. Per Revees vs. Earnts and Young some investments are not considered investments under the securities laws, especially thoughs investments that are colateralized, this is the area I studied under and litigated in 22 states in the 90s.

Here's what I see; the Iraqi Dinar is not an investment as it is colateralized by the currency exchange of the dollar for dinar and vise a versa, sure you could lose a portion of the money right now if you exchange back before RV, the lose is minimal at best. You can sell on line at Ebay and get your money back or even make a profit, so there is no lose, therefore, the Iraqi Dinar Exchange is not a security that is required to be registered in any state under any definition of a security.

Call the Iraqi Dinar what it is a "Currency Exchange" and not an investment.
