We could be at the end Empty We could be at the end

Post by rick152 Sun Nov 27, 2011 5:00 pm

Good afternoon all. After listening to all the news brought forth by the peeps and the guru's alike, I think we just may be at the end of this ride. Maybe some of the peeps here can help to do our own verifications.

I waited to bring this until this mornings bank story. Thought about it a few days ago but needed a bit more to be said first. Mind you this is a opinion and that is all. But, logic starts to take hold here.

What we have heard is the bank screens are all reading zero, across the board. I checked the site for the UN opperational rates and the site does not come with anything but a fail screen. This is potentially very good news. The UN screen is "official". there are other sites that show numbers but they could be old and not updated, even if they say so.

What I found so interesting on the bank story from this morning was this part. If the UN rates are zero's across, that DOES (potentially) mean that central banks and for that matter probably ALL banks cannot trade ANY cash.

In case you don't know...every night after close time, banks around the world trade cash. Yes that means the monies YOU have on deposit along with assets (being loans etc. are traded. For example: Wells Fargo might have 1 billion in assets to trade. Inturn they BUY Yen with that money.(after colsing hours) before opening time they sell the Yen and buy back dollars. In these transactions the bank May make 1 cent per dollar, (sometimes they lose), but this is one way banks make money, (beside the money they make off us by they're fees.

This being a long weekend in the US, (Thanksgiving) and the US being ( by far largest trader and spender in the world) Give ample time to place the "adjustments" we have been hearing about. You know the 133 countries.

With the opperational rates shut down that means NO TRADING. ( this saying they are really shut down) No trading means the world (global market) has virtually stopped dead in it's tracks, so to speak.

This definately cannot go on for very long before the wheels just have to start up again, period.

I am not calling a RV here but this sure looks good to me. What say you? There are some things we as peeps can do to verify. Forex pro's , UN opperational rates page and finding out ( if you are a stock holder maybe) your own US banks to see if the world financial system has indeed stopped for a couple days. Checking other world banks like central banks of a bunch of countries like Singapor etc. This could be a tell of the tape. You know follow the money.

I hope this helps all to do a little checking and come back with the answers we so seek.
Have a great day as I believe we could finally be here.

So very true rick. Most people do not know that, but it is the absolute
truth. When I met with the Big Man at our bank and told him I knew it,
his jaw dropped. Then we went into a meeting and he told everyone there,
she knows about the trades....then their jaws dropped....priceless. I
live in a very small town and we are not suppose to know those kind of
secrets.....did give me a good laugh.

Another thing the Banks do at night is fund new requests for Credit Cards around the world...

The safer the Bank they don't do the real risky trades. The banks that make the risky trades get paid higher when they win...

Our Company used to fund loans from Countrywide's warehouse line that we had and down through the years leaned a whole lot. Lucky for us we got out before these problems started... Thank God for that...

Like everyone else posting here I'm loving the sound of this possibly indicating the RV is coming but would like to ask someone to clarify if the bank screens are currently reading zero across the board on 133 currencies it would seem likely there would be some mentioning of this unusual occurrence on the Bloomberg channel tonight during their up to the minute discussions of currencies around the world. Wouldn't that seem logical or am I missing something that would help clarify why they wouldn't be seeing that?

I believe there are 2 senarios for that question. 1 The news rarely ever talks about the bank trades, I don't recall hearing even one. 2 The news we know is owned by the PTB and they could have silenced the media for odvious reasons. They PTB really do not want the general public to know about this until after when they announce. Then China will be said to have cooperated and raised they're rate as China has been in the news already. Know what I mean? Keep thinking this is good for all thank you...rick152

For those new to the banking scene...The information presented here is only the tip of the Iceberg!!!! If you own a home do some research on LIBOR.... This is the definition furnished by google but if you look at the small print on your mortgage or credit card paper work you WILL see it.....

The LIBOR rate is the average interest rate that leading banks in London charge when lending to other banks. It is an acronym for London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR, /ˈlaɪbɔr/) Banks borrow money for one day, one month, two months, six months, one year etc. and they pay interest to their lenders based on certain rates. The LIBOR figure is an average of these rates. Many financial institutions, mortgage lenders and credit card agencies track the rate, which is produced daily at 11 a.m. to fix their own interest rates which are typically higher than the LIBOR rate. As such it is a benchmark for finance all around the world.

Sad that WE ALL were, at some point, in the dark about what banks have been doing but now we can empower each-other with what we KNOW first hand about the banks!!!!!
