The new layout is terrible on a tablet or mobile device. Way better when all the ads were on the left side.

I am nearsighted, but when I first saw the new layout, I thought I had become wide sighted or narrow sighted (don't know which)

Although I agree that I like it better on a PC, it is difficult to read on a tablet or mobile device and the middle column, which is all we really care about, is very narrow. It only hold about 5 words per line.
