USA VOTING POWER WITHIN THE IMF
by milndollarbabe » Tue Jul 19, 2011 10:33 am
[milndollarbabe] hey guys i was doing a little research because some people are having a hard time believing that Obama has enough power to hold things up.....within the IMF the USA has 421,964 votes with a 16.77% share of voting power......the next closest country with voting rights to the USA is..... germany with 146,395 votes with a 5.82% of total voting power http://www.imf.org/external/np/sec/memdir/members.aspx .........and most structures are set up where it takes an 85% vote to change things within the IMF....well with the USA carrying 16% of the weight...that pretty much gives USA holding power on issues...... just some fyi

And to get more info on the new head of the IMF, who was born and schooled in France, but has been working for a Chiagom Law mFirm since 1981-82,
