On Sunday, the Ministry of Labor clarified the procedures to be taken when delaying or cutting workers' wages.
A member of the media center, Najm Al-Aqabi, said in a statement reported by the official news agency "NAA" and seen by "Economy News", that "Labour Law No. 37 of 2015 provides safe protection for workers in the private sector," noting that "Article 43 of the Labor Law stipulates that It is not permissible to assign workers and insured workers except after obtaining the approval of the Minister of Labor.
Al-Uqabi called on the workers to review the Ministry of Labor to file a complaint in the event that their wages are delayed or their rights are underestimated, stressing that the inspection committees will take the necessary action.
