Baghdad / NINA / - The representative of the State of Law coalition, Muhammad Saadoun Al-Sihoud, called on the caretaker government to address the effects of raising the dollar exchange rate, which harmed the livelihood of the Iraqi citizen.

Chihod said in a press statement today: "Raising the dollar exchange rate is a wrong decision borne by the caretaker government, the Minister of Finance, the Governor of the Central Bank and the political blocs that contributed and agreed to this decision, which exhausted the people's strength and harmed the economic security of the country."

He added, "The reduction of the dollar exchange rate should be gradual in order to avoid any new damages that may affect the citizen's livelihood."/ Ended
