Basra / NINA / - The representative of Basra Governorate, Ali Shaddad Al-Faris, confirmed that the Federal Court's decision of the unconstitutionality of the oil and gas law of the Kurdistan Regional Government is final and the objectors must adopt constitutional methods, "pointing out that the largest affected by Kurdistan's oil policy is the province of Basra.

He said in a statement Journalist, "The Kurdistan government has violated the constitutional provisions and legislated the Oil and Gas Law of 2007, and concluded contracts with international companies to export and produce oil without the knowledge of the federal government.

Al-Faris stressed that the Baghdad government is obligated to implement the court's decision and it must summon the region's presidency and find out the money it collected from oil contracts.

He pointed out that the escalation of statements by Kurdistan about the Federal Court's decision are illogical reactions. Indicating: The Kurdish deputies are asking about the money that the Kurdistan government has earned from oil production and export.

Al-Faris explained that the House of Representatives will play a major role in implementing the Federal Court's decision on the Kurdistan Oil and Gas Law.
