Baghdad / NINA / - The head of the Iranian-Iraqi Chamber of Commerce expected from the Iranian side, Yahya Al Ishaq, that the volume of inter-trade exchange would reach 10 billion dollars by the end of the current fiscal year, March 20, 2022.

Al Ishaq said in a statement today, Wednesday: "The volume of trade exchange with Iraq until On November 20, 2021, it amounted to about $8 billion.

And he stressed, "Iranian companies do not face problems in collecting their dues regarding the provision of services and the implementation of industrial projects in Iraq, through exchange offices and other channels."

He pointed out: "Iraq is Iran's second largest trading partner, and the two sides are aiming for a level of 20 billion dollars for inter-trade exchange."

Regarding the volume of dues for exporting energy to Iraq, Al Ishaq stated: “The dues are variable and not fixed, as we have a current account. We export energy, including gas, to Iraq, and in return we get money in different forms, but their size ranges between 5 to 7 billion dollars, and most of them are debts. government.”/ End 2
