An economist gives advice to the Turkish government to support the lira

Baghdad / NINA / - An economic expert, Dergham Muhammad Ali, advised the Turkish government to activate tourism outside the winter tourist season for Iraqis, to support the Turkish lira.
Muhammad Ali said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency ( NINA ): "The imposition of a visa on the Iraqi tourist has greatly reduced the number of Iraqi tourists, and they are considered a good resource for the dollar and an important revitalization of the real estate market in Turkey."
He pointed out that "tourism is an important resource for the dollar in Turkey, and the Iraqi tourist is an important figure in the Turkish tourism market, especially outside the tourist season."
He added, "The damage from the visa in its current complex form is much greater than any fee collection that the Turkish government obtains from the gateway company," noting:
