The Chargé d'Affairs, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed his sincere wishes to work for the development of relations between the two countries, explaining that the relations between Baghdad and Mexico are historical relations established since 1977, more than 44 years ago, stressing the desire and interest of the Iraqi government in developing these relations.
