Baghdad / NINA / - The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, hosted, at Baghdad Palace, a meeting that included Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, which dealt with the latest developments in the country, political developments and the legislative elections that took place last October 10.
The meeting stressed, according to a presidential statement, the need to enhance security and stability in the country, enhance civil and societal peace, unite ranks, dialogue and convergence, protect the democratic path, adhere to legal and constitutional contexts, and joint efforts to meet the aspirations of citizens and improve living and service conditions.
They noted the need to resolve the complaints and electoral appeals in accordance with the law and considered mainly in addressing issues related to elections, with emphasis on the highest degree of diligence and professionalism and impartiality to be resolved, and so as to enhance confidence in the electoral process and to be the output of legal elections and constitutional. "
