Baghdad / NINA / - Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, expressed his hope to overcome the crisis related to the election results by looking into the complaints of the objectors and redressing them according to the law.
The media office of the head of the coalition stated: "Al-Maliki met today with the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Iraj Masjedi, and discussed with him the developments of political and security situations on the regional and international arenas, the early parliamentary elections and the objections that resulted from the elections about the results and their impact on the current political situation in the country."
Al-Maliki stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries, stressing the importance that Iraq and Iran, in the next stage, play an important role in easing tensions and consolidating security and stability in the region.
The head of the State of Law Coalition expressed his hope to overcome the crisis related to the election results by looking into the complaints of the objectors and redressing them according to the law, and rejecting all attempts to escalate that seek to chaos, in order to speed up the formation of a government capable of advancing its tasks and achieving what the Iraqi people aim for.
In turn, Ambassador Masjedi affirmed Iraq's support, expressing his hope that during the next stage, Iraq will have a pivotal role at the regional and international levels./End of 7
