The Minister of Foreign Affairs discusses with an American official the political and security developments in the region

Baghdad / NINA / - Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein discussed with the Special Representative of the United States of America for Iranian Affairs Robert Malley the political and security developments in the region, and the reality of US-Iranian relations.
The minister stressed, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the roles and activities undertaken by Iraq in reducing tensions between the countries of the region in order to maintain regional peace and security, in the interest of international peace and security, expressing his hope for the return of talks in Vienna to implement the agreements and the joint action plan and their repercussions. Positive at the level of regional and international relations.
For his part, Robert Malley praised the important role of Iraq in the region and its quest to build and extend bridges between the countries of the region to resolve differences through dialogue and peaceful ways./End of 8
