Baghdad / NINA / - The Governor of Najaf, Louay Al-Yasiri, revealed: "The new local projects will roll into the next year's 2022 budget, due to the lack of sufficient time for the arrival of their allocations by the federal government in preparation for their disbursement before the end of the current year."
Al-Yasiri said, in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “The allocations for projects in the general budget have not yet arrived, and we need more than a month to disburse them, so it will roll over to the next year,” referring to the receipt of 50 billion dinars as a first payment and the remaining two payments in the amount Himself .
He added, "The plan of new projects in Najaf governorate, despite the lack of allocations amounting to 90 billion dinars, focuses on developing the entrances to the governorate, expanding the main roads and rehabilitating the external controls, to facilitate the entry of visitors to the governorate, as well as rehabilitating the old city around the vicinity of the shrine of Amir al-Mu'minin, peace be upon him." Noting that "the province of Najaf is preparing to open giant streets within the arc roads system, which will be completed soon, and other service projects in the water, electricity and sewage sectors."
On the Turkish hospital project, the governor of Najaf explained that: "The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Prime Minister's Office were addressed, and we asked to operate the hospital, which needs 1,250 billion dinars, but the Ministry of Finance apologized for allocating the amount."
He continued, "The operation is related to maintenance, security, technical services and equipment inside the hospital, because some medical devices need support and it is not currently available, and we do not want it to be a consultative hospital only within the governorate."/ Ended 5
