Baghdad / NINA / - Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi confirmed: "The strategic dialogue united the Iraqi political positions."
He explained in a televised interview: "The results of the dialogue with the United States of America came after a long period of dialogues conducted by the government, concerning the future of Iraqi-American relations in the security, cultural, economic and energy fields."
He added, "The most important thing about this achievement is that it unified the positions of the Iraqi political forces, and this gives a glimmer of hope to the Iraqis that we are united in visions regarding Iraqi sovereignty, which we hope will be reflected in the upcoming elections."
He continued, "We have moved to a new stage of relations with the United States of America in the long term, providing support and training to our security and military services, as well as in the economic, energy and environment fields. Today, our forces have received recognition for their ability to protect our lands and people from terrorist groups and protect internal security." Iraq needs to take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen social peace and work within the framework of the state."
And he stated: "Iraq has regained its health and influence, and its role in the region has become pivotal, and everyone is betting on Iraq's role in restoring cohesion in the vicinity of the Arab and Islamic region, and searching for an Iraqi role to bring the points of view closer between the quarreling and competing countries. We seek and support everyone to search for a mechanism." For dialogue, it is certainly better than differences and wars. We support dialogue, whether it is an American-Iranian dialogue, or any dialogue that can help in the stability of the region, because it has repercussions on the stability of Iraq and its economic situation.
He pointed out that last year, many understandings were signed with the United States of America, many of which are in their final stages to sign memoranda of cooperation and agreements.
Al-Kazemi stated: "There are contracts with large oil companies in the governorates of Dhi Qar, Basra, Maysan and Muthanna, and there are also large development projects in the field of gas, and in the near future they will be in the process of implementation. We are working to create a safe environment for investment and send a message to everyone that Iraq has A golden opportunity for investors, and this investment will have repercussions on the lives of citizens."
Regarding the white paper, he said: "We presented the white paper for financial, administrative and legislative reform, which would create good conditions for investment and protect foreign investments, as well as protect the Iraqi investor and change all bureaucratic aspects of work. I hope to adopt this reform white paper as working rules for future governments, and it is a paper that needs Five years to achieve reform," he called on the House of Representatives to pass legislation to help implement this paper.
And regarding the Corona pandemic, he stressed: “The pandemic has become a global challenge for all countries of the world, including Iraq, the Iraqi government signed a set of agreements with Pfizer to provide quantities of vaccines, and they are in a state of daily increase. A weekly vaccine, and the United States of America provided half a million vaccine doses that will reach Iraq within a few weeks, and we have a plan starting from the middle of next August to vaccinate citizens and increase the import of vaccine quantities, and to reach the largest possible number of Iraqis, and we hope that citizens go voluntarily to hospitals To receive the vaccine, as it is an important issue that affects their lives and concerns the protection of national security in the health aspect.”
Al-Kazemi stressed: "There is coordination and cooperation between Iraq and the United States of America, not only in the security field, but in the cultural and economic fields, and the cultural aspect has taken a great deal of space in this regard, and the coordination that took place in receiving antiquities is the beginning of cultural cooperation between Iraq and America." He concluded by saying: "The world has changed and Iraq must open up to everyone because of its important repercussions on the economic, health and other situation, and we must take advantage of any opportunity that serves Iraq and through which it can regain its true role."/ End 9
