Baghdad / NINA / - The Parliamentary Relations and Foreign Affairs Committee announced the most important files that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi will discuss with US President Joe Biden in Washington. .

A member of the committee, Deputy Amer Al-Fayez, said, in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The withdrawal of US forces from Iraq, and the increase in security and military cooperation and coordination between the two countries under the security agreement, will take precedence over Al-Kazemi's meeting with Biden."

He added, "The files of energy, investment, the economy, and the health file with the repercussions of the Corona pandemic will also be on the agenda of the meeting."

Regarding the strategic dialogue between Iraq and the United States, Al-Fayez explained: “The dialogue rounds will lead to new paths for organizing relations between the two countries and framing joint security and military cooperation in accordance with the security agreement signed between the two sides,” noting that “the presence of foreign forces in Iraq is a government decision that depends on The need for training and security and intelligence cooperation, not combat effort."
