Baghdad / NINA / - The head of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee, Ahmed Salim Al-Kinani, revealed that a request was submitted to the Presidency of the House of Representatives to set a date for the questioning of the head of the National Investment Commission, Suha Daoud Najjar, after the commission committed a number of legal violations.

Al-Kinani said in a statement that: The Parliamentary Committee on Economy and Investment has hosted, for several times, the head of the National Investment Commission, Suha Daoud Najjar, in the presence of its advanced cadre. During the hosting, the work progress in the commission was reviewed, as well as a discussion of the correct implementation of the investment law and its articles. Pointing out that "the National Investment Commission violated the law through the system approved by the Council of Ministers, which was originally lifted from the National Investment Commission!"

He added: These and other violations were registered with the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee, and the committee alerted the National Investment Commission several times about these violations, and we had hoped the National Investment Commission would correct these violations, but unfortunately it did not respond to them and did not take them into consideration!

Al-Kinani noted that: After the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee had taken all the constitutional and legal measures in its dealings with the National Investment Commission, it moved towards submitting a request to the Presidency of Parliament, to interrogate the Chairman of the National Investment Commission, regarding the violations committed by the National Commission, and the date of the interrogation will be set. In the coming days. / Finished 3
