{Economic: Al Furat News} The Netherlands announced the opening of the potato crop value chain development program in Dohuk Governorate in the Kurdistan Region.

The Dutch embassy in Baghdad said in a post on its Facebook page: "This project will provide 10,000 jobs in potato fields for the weaker classes of society and hundreds of jobs in factories, in addition to training 8,000 farmers."

"This project supports the white paper for economic reform in Iraq, the development of value chains and private investments in the agricultural sector," he added.
