On Sunday, a member of the House of Representatives from the Future Bloc, Sarkot Shams Al-Din, warned the political blocs against allying with the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Massoud Barzani, describing him as a reference to corruption in the region.

Shams Al-Din said in a statement received by "The Information", a copy of it, that "the opposition forces in the region warn the parties in the center and the south against allying with Barzani, as he is the leader of the Kurds," noting that he is "an example of injustice, tyranny and corruption in the region."

Shams Al-Din advised the political blocs not to repeat the previous political mistakes in the alliance with Barzani, describing him as the weight of the egg and that the alliance with him is important for the upcoming political process, because this played with the feelings of the Kurdish people, who consider it a reference to corruption and cut off their livelihoods and the sale of Kurdistan to neighboring countries over the past years.
