The Economy News - Baghdad

On Thursday, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced the launch of the first batch of 2020 of the Social Protection Benefit.

The Ministry, in a statement and seen by "The Economy News", quoted the Minister of Labor and President of the Social Protection Authority Basem Abdel-Zaman as saying that "Social assistance salaries have been launched for more than one million and (300) thousand families in Baghdad and the provinces except for the Kurdistan region with a total amount of up to more From (388) billion dinars. "

Abdel-Zaman called on "the families covered to review the outlets to receive salaries."

It is noteworthy that the number of families headed by a man amounted to more than (924) thousand families, amounting to more than (289) billion dinars, while the number of families headed by a woman reached more than (435) thousand families, amounting to more than (99) billion Dinar.
