On Monday, the head of the Iranian Customs Authority, Mahdi Mirashrafi, announced that exports of goods recorded 125.2 million tons, valued at $ 38.5 billion, in the 11 months of the March 21, 2019 to February 19, 2020 period, while  [size=15]Iraq  ranked second in the list of importing countries.[/size]

"The exports recorded a quantitative growth of 17.6 percent, and the price contracted by 4.4 percent over the previous corresponding period," Mirashrafi said, according to a news briefed by the Iranian newspaper, Al-Iqtisad News.

The Head of Customs indicated that "the trade balance recorded a deficit of 1.4 billion dollars at present, and if the revenue of electricity and engineering services exports to neighboring countries is calculated, then the trade balance will record a surplus."

He pointed out that "China, Iraq, Turkey, the Emirates and Afghanistan, respectively, topped the ranking of countries importing Iranian goods," noting that "China, the Emirates, Turkey, India and Germany are ranked / topped the list of countries exporting to Iran."
