Economy News - Baghdad

On Sunday, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Bassem Abdel-Zaman announced the launch of a new batch of unemployment grants, which included 100,000 of them.

Abdul-Zaman said in a statement reported by the official "Al-Sabah" newspaper, which was read to him by "Al-Iqtisad News", that his ministry "launched the fourth emergency payment for the second month of the unemployed."

Abdel-Zaman called on those whose names appeared in the meal mentioned on the ministry's website to "review the exchange centers of Iraq Gate (Soij) in Baghdad and the provinces of the country in order to receive the grant after receiving the text messages bearing the secret code for each beneficiary."

He added that "the grant includes about 100,000 unemployed people of different births and age groups," noting that "the first meal that was launched last week included the names of the first, second and third batches."
