Hi Everyone,

I bring you much news today.

I want everyone to know that Iraq does NOT yet have new prime minister as many of you allude to in your comments from my Jan 21st newsletter. President Saleh simply announced he has a viable candidate and might nominate him once he arrives from Davos Forum at the end of the week.

So, we already are witnessing the Iranian resistance to anyone they cannot use as their puppet and control. Yes, these Iranians in Iraq are now trying to confuse the situation. Soon after Saleh’s announcement, just before leaving for Davos, rumors began to fly. So, what were these rumors?

One rumor is that the citizens want Ali Abdul Amir Allawi and NOT Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi that the President of Iraq chose. This may come to be the final truth but for now Saleh picked Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi not Ali Abdul Amir Allawi. We just have to wait and watch what happens.

The second rumor is that Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi rejected his nomination anyhow. One article told us this and another told us to ignore the first one. So which is it? Again, we just have to wait and watch what happens. I believe Ali Abdul Amir Allawi will eventually end up with the nomination.

Also remember I told you that an agreement has been made over a month ago to pay out the HCL funds to the average citizen and do it now. Yes, now, now and now, not months from now. The constitution states it and we know for a FACT the law was already passed to implement it in parliament in 2018. This is way overdue. The pressure from the protestors is another reason why they must finally go ahead with this project. Folks this is part of the “reforms” they are talking about and want.

But there is still the problem with Iran funneling funds to Iran and so this issue is the obstacle, has been the obstacle and will continue to be the obstacle until president Trump can resolve this Iranian influence in Iraq. This is not going to change overnight but now we see the path to progress.

These stipends must come out as close to the 1:1 rate with US dollar as possible as this is the way they set it up to go. This means that they will have to move ahead with the “project to delete the zeros” in order to do this. Yes, these stipends are a triggering mechanism for the RV. It is all part of the same plan and inter-connected. Get it?

Incidentally I want to remind everyone that the end of January is just around the corner. The month of January is noted as the BEST and MOST OPPORTUNE time for the CBI to conduct the reinstatement. I have already explained to you many times already why this is the case and so I will not get into it again today. Can they do it by end of January? You tell me cause I don’t think so. Does this mean we wait until next January 2021? Very possible we may have to since now they are talking about not even implementing the China deal with Iraq until 5 months from now. Seems 2020 is going to pass us by real fast. Another wasted year gone….

I believe that over this coming weekend things could drastically change, if a prime minister is seated. The US wants all funding to terrorists to end. This means ALL IRAQI FUNDING OF ANY KIND OTHER THAN NORMAL and ESSENTIAL TRADE RELATIONS, TO END. Of course, Iran is not going to like ending the currency auctions as this would mean billions to support their economy. So this is not going to go over very well with Iran. There will be repercussions with all these pro-Iranian militias inside Iraq. These militias are the strongarm and enforcement gangs for Iranian policy in Iraq.

So this is the situation like it or not. Like I said before, it may be better to face Iran now and suffer any consequences NOW than to continue and prolong this Iranian influence any longer. We will NEVER see our RV with it.

It may take some time to get Iran out but at least now the process has begun and is being aggressively applied. How long will it take, we don’t know. But there is a plan and the US and Iraq now are jointly working towards it. This is the VERY GOOD news today. So knowing that the Iraqi citizens on the side of anti-Iranian, this is a great opportunity to implement this strategy to get rid of Iran.

More news….

President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, and president of Iraq Saleh met on Wednesday with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the Davos Economic Forum, Switzerland according to media reports.

This was tweeted just before Davos began:

MORE FAKE NEWS. WHEN WILL IT END?

January 21, 2020
The Independent / Follow-up / – Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, the candidate for the position of the next Prime Minister, denied that he was subjected to pressures, dictates or conditions by the political blocs, stressing that what was circulated from the tweet confirms his rejection of the nomination, AS IT WAS FABRICATED AND FABRICATED ALTOGETHER AND IN DETAIL.

Allawi said in a tweet on the micro-blogging site “Twitter” followed by “Al-Mustaqilla” today, Tuesday, a fabricated tweet was added in addition to a fabricated article under the title and it was fake news (What happened on the night of commissioning) and it was widely reported that Muhammad Allawi refused his candidacy due to the dictates of some political parties;

To confirm that this tweet and THIS ARTICLE ARE FABRICATED AND COMPLETELY FABRICATED.

Allawi stressed in a second tweet, that no one has yet dictated any dictates or conditions; knowing that I stressed that I WOULD NOT ACCEPT IN THE CASE OF ASSIGNING ME MINISTERS ACCORDING TO THE POLITICAL QUOTAS like the previous governments that ended in failure and brought the country to this miserable state and nothing else, Let’s not exaggerate the news to suite your purpose.

After Soleimani’s death, Tehran swiftly appointed Esmail Ghaani as the new head of the Quds Force, an elite unit in the Revolutionary Guards that handles actions abroad. The new commander pledged to pursue Soleimani’s course.

DUBAI (Reuters) - The U.S. special representative for Iran said the successor to Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in a U.S. drone strike, would suffer the same fate if he followed a similar path of killing Americans, Asharq al-Awsat newspaper reported.

IRAN CONTINUES ITS PUSH FOR DOMINANCE IN IRAQ OVER US

BEIRUT (AP) — Iran has long sought the withdrawal of American forces from neighboring Iraq, but the U.S. killing of an Iranian general and an Iraqi militia commander in Baghdad has added new impetus to the effort, stoking anti-American feelings that Tehran hopes to exploit to help realize the goal.
The Jan. 3 killing has led Iraq’s parliament to call for the ouster of U.S. troops, but there are many lingering questions over whether Iran will be able to capitalize on the sentiment.

An early test will be a “million-man” demonstration against the American presence, called for by influential Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr and scheduled for Friday.

It is not clear whether the protesters will try to recreate a New Year’s Eve attack on the U.S. Embassy compound in Baghdad by Iran-supported militias.

In the wake of U.S. airstrikes that killed 25 militiamen along the border with Syria. Iran might simply try to use the march to telegraph its intention to keep up the pressure on U.S. troops in Iraq. But experts say Iran can be counted on to try to seize what it sees as an opportunity to push its agenda in Iraq, despite an ongoing mass uprising that is targeting government corruption as well as Iranian influence in the country.

NNC- US News Fox News revealed Thursday that Washington intends to deploy an air defense system in Iraq.

The network quoted US defense officials as saying that the move comes after Iranian missiles caused extensive damage to Ein al-Assad base and 11 soldiers were injured in the brain as a result of the lack of US air protection systems in Iraq. Iran will attack al-Qaeda again now, but it is likely that we will go ahead with the deployment of an air defense system as a precaution to protect our soldiers.

Yesterday, Iraqi President Barham Saleh held talks with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, centered on reducing foreign forces in Iraq, while the White House stressed that Trump and Saleh agreed on the need to maintain a US military role in Iraq.

(Mnt Goat – So it is not yet over with Iran and much more to come. What will it take for Iran to see the “writing on the wall”? )

EXCHANGE RATE OF THE IRAQI DINAR STAYS STABLE IN THE LIGHT OF THE CONDITIONS IN THE COUNTRY WITH THE BEGINNING OF THE CRISIS IN OCTOBER LAST YEAR.

The change in the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar in the light of the conditions in the country, we expected with the beginning of the crisis in October last year in an earlier article entitled "The exchange rate is stable" and we wondered how long it will last?

We pointed out that the continuation of the situation may cause fluctuations in the exchange rate and we cited the Lebanese experience at the time how the exchange rate of the Lebanese pound deteriorated despite its stability for two decades and called for precaution and caution and be careful.

We have confirmed that a successful monetary policy is capable of maintaining exchange rate stability while supporting banks and banking offices, and with a national motivation they have all contributed to the stability of the exchange rate on prices.

Yes, it is true that what we expected in the oscillation, but so far the change in the exchange rate is still receding within the limits of the tiger or the two, and this result is very natural compared to the magnitude of the crisis of international and regional conflict.

Contrary to what many analysts have said in their predictions of a big change, the exchange rate will get based on their reading of the speed of events and the size of Its effect. The outcome of this crisis, despite the magnitude of the risks and challenges that accompanied it, has had less impact than expected. A truly puzzling equation.

What is the reason for your estimates of my reading of this phenomenon as a follow-up to the economic issue involves that the national and responsible attitude of our traders and market owners not to take advantage of the conditions and raise prices has helped to mitigate the effects of the shock, this is basically, and the citizens held together and did not rush to the markets To store food, the market has kept commodities flowing and stable
prices.

The role of sound monetary policy, which hastened to address the crisis by announcing the injection of currencies to maintain the price in an attempt to curb the expected volatility, as well as the commitment of banks to support these measures, as well as the role of banking offices not to speculate and exploit the circumstances, and this is calculated for them. And for their patriotism.High.
This cohesion and cooperation between citizens, traders, monetary and banking institutions has overcome the crisis, will we take such a right and correct approach?

Yes. We all hope and trust that the future certainly bodes well.

SAMSON: ECONOMISTS: THE BIGGEST CORRUPTION EXISTS IN THE CENTRAL BANK AND CURRENCY AUCTION (This is from last year)

November 21, 2019

Economists expressed their opinion on the actions of the Iraqi Integrity Commission on fighting corruption and corrupt in the Iraqi state, indicating that it dropped the secondary figures and left the "big", stressing that the largest corruption exists in the central bank and auction currency.
The Iraqi economic expert, Majid al-Suri, in a press statement followed by the "independent" on Wednesday, "The corruption files that have been raised are just simple issues in the large corruption files that concern projects in most state institutions."

He added, “To refer to the reports of the Audit Bureau since 2005 and so far, there is a fixation of very large cases of corruption, especially with regard to the file of electricity and defense deals and the entry of ISIS, and these very large files of corruption shaking thrones, but unfortunately not addressed, because Senior officials are involved and cannot condemn themselves.”
He pointed out that "one of the main causes of corruption is the lack of real institutions in the Iraqi state, as evidenced by the contradiction between the ministries and their decisions, as well as the LACK OF APPLICATION OF LAWS, INCLUDING THE LAW ON FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND PUBLIC DEBT, WHICH HAS NOT BEEN APPLIED SINCE 2003 AND SO FAR."

For his part, said professor of economics at the University of Wasit Ahmed al-Atwani, "the pursuit of the figures involved in corruption is much more important than the follow-up of corruption sites to catch young corrupt," pointing out that "quotas made the fight against corruption difficult."
He added, "The largest corruption exists in the central bank and auction currency, but those files are difficult to disclose because the corrupt have wide ways to circumvent in this framework."
He pointed out that "the size of corruption is estimated at 183 billion dollars, but the failure to follow up on these files due to structural imbalance in anti-corruption bodies."

The professor of political science at the University of Baghdad, Atheer al-Jasser, in a statement :, "The presentation of these files at the moment can not be read only in the context of absorbing public anger, and can not be taken seriously." "If the Palestinian Authority wanted to succeed in absorbing the anger, it would have toppled the big political figures and the president involved in corruption cases."

He pointed out that "there is no longer any confidence between the Iraqi street and governments, and put corruption files in any formula will not only push Iraqis to question what is hidden from those files," pointing out that "the most important question now is who is held accountable?"
There is a state of distrust of the entire political class. There is no confidence in its seriousness in the anti-corruption process.

(Mnt Goat – As I said before, it is one thing to pass a law and another thing to implement it and have enforcement and penalties if it is not adhered to. This is the problem in Iraq. There are many old and new laws but little enforcement and implementation of them.)

In ending I want everyone to know your constant prayers in the fight against evil (ISIS) and now the corruption in Iraq have worked. God has guided these young men and women on the battle field. He has guided the honest, patriots of Iraq to fight for their homeland. So this new war now on our citizens is underway. New battles are raging every day over corruption. These are battles to save our societies from the corrupt politicians and secret societies who are bent on taking what they want from our current wealth and from future generations without our permission. We must keep praying for the end to the rapid corruption and enslavement of people in Iraq and also in the United States. We must pray for our leaders that they may be anointed by the Holy Spirit and guided to do God’s work. We must stand by them and let them know we are still there to support them, even after the election is over. I have composed a prayer maybe we can all pray today in our own way and until the reinstatement of the Iraq dinar occurs.

PRAYER

“For all leaders of all nations, that they may be anointed by the Holy Spirit to do God’s will and work to bring about abundance and prosperity to their nation.

To fight this waging war on corruption, our freedoms, our liberties, socialist plans and injustice.

To bring all those corrupt to justice and pay for their crimes no matter how high up in the government they are.

That the FREE WORLD may be a shining example for the rest of the entire planet.

In the name of Jesus Christ our King and Savior, Amen”
