The Ministry of Construction and Housing announced Thursday that it has approved the basic design of the new Habbaniyah city, with a capacity of 100,000 units.
Construction Minister Benikani Rikani said in a statement, "Economy News" received a copy of it, that "the basic design of the new Habbaniyah city with a capacity of 100,000 housing units has been approved."
 
"The project aims to enhance the value of Al-Anbar Governorate by establishing a sustainable city that focuses on achieving environmental, social and economic sustainability with a high-tech system deployed everywhere to improve the quality of life," he added. A lot like tourism and entertainment with a multi-activity center. "
 
It is noteworthy that the new Habbaniyah city will be established along the lines of smart cities and will include 100 thousand vertical and horizontal residential units to serve 600,000 thousand people, as well as commercial and industrial facilities, recreational, cultural and health facilities, etc. The project area is 29,438,
