Why is that a big deal? It is still currency backed by the Federal Reserves....It is not new US Treasury notes like some have indicated.....so what? We have new bills with new security features.....

The "new" money you should be interested in will have "Treasury Note" in place of "Federal Reserve Note" on it because we will then be back under the "original constitution" and we will then be back on the Gold Standard where our US money is then back by gold and other precious metals and oil.

I would not hold my breath on the US going back on the gold standard.
