Resumption of operations in the Nasiriyah oil field
Economy News - Baghdad
Reuters quoted two sources in the oil sector as saying that operations resumed in the Nasiriyah oil field in southern Iraq, on Monday, but it will take up to two days for the production to be fully restored.
Protesters stormed the field, which produces between 80 and 85 thousand barrels per day of oil, on Saturday, and forced its workers to cut electricity to the control station, which led to the suspension of the field.
