Exporting 100,000 tons of Iranian goods to Iraq within 9 months

Muhannaz Hamti, Director General of the Standards Organization in the western Ilam Province, announced on Sunday the export of more than 100,000 tons of goods of standard specifications to Iraq through the Mehran border crossing since March 21, 2019.
"Most of the commodities included construction materials, including iron ore, building stones, chemicals, tiles, and iron, along with electrical tools and auto parts," Humati said in a statement reported by the Fars agency and seen by Al-Iqtisad News.
Hamti noted that "a thousand tests of export commodities have been conducted to examine their compliance with standards during the said period."
