The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs launched the fourth batch of emergency grant
In a statement to Al-Sabah newspaper, Minister Bassem Abdel-Zaman said that the ministry had launched the fourth batch of the emergency grant for the unemployed during the past few days.

He stressed that the ministry "has completed the distribution of the amounts allocated for the third batch launched last week and included 100,000 unemployed," noting that "the fourth meal will include 100,000 unemployed and will be distributed through the outlets of the company (Soij)."

Al-Zaman added that "the ministry has granted more than 54 thousand unemployed loans, allocated in order to start the implementation of their small income-generating projects in order to improve the level of income."

"Loans were granted under the lending program and included more than 11,000 beneficiaries and poverty alleviation strategies programs, in which more than 43,000 beneficiaries were granted."
