Minister of Planning Nuri Sabah al-Dulaimi, on Wednesday, the contract with four international companies to examine goods and goods imported to Iraq in the country of origin.
In a statement received by Al-Dulaimi, a copy of which was received, Al-Dulaimi said that the new inspection program to be carried out by four international companies will start at the beginning of next year and will continue for three years.
He added that "inspections of imported goods will be in accordance with Iraqi standards and the adoption of international standards."
For his part, the head of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control Hussein Ali Daoud, that "there are 19 companies applied for the license examination, after several rounds and legal and administrative procedures, took six months, four companies were selected to meet the required conditions."
He explained that "these companies are one of the global companies known in the field of examination and spread in all countries of the world, and the contract will last three years from the year 2020 to the year 2022."
He pointed out that "examining companies will start paying the license fees to the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, which will represent an important revenue will invest in the development of the work of the device and its staff." Done / 25
