KUWAIT CITY (Reuters) - Protesters blocked the entrance to the port near Basra and barred trucks from entering the port of Khor al-Zubair on Tuesday, officials said.

Khor al-Zubair is the second most important Iraqi port on the Gulf and is used to export gas condensate shipments and import building materials, electrical products and food.

It was not immediately clear whether gas condensate exports were affected.
