, the religious authority, Mr. Hussein Sayyed Ismail al-Sadr, Friday, the United Nations to intervene positively to end the suffering of the Iraqi people.
"Mr. Sadr, in his private office in the holy city of Kadhimiya, received Jenin Blachart, the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq and the delegation accompanying it," Sadr's media office said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
"Obstacles at work do not frustrate the missionaries. I always say that the obstacles at work make the work more beautiful and our humanitarian, faith and national goals are what motivates us to work," said Sadr.
He stressed the "concern for human rights", calling on the United Nations to "pay attention to the humanitarian aspects first as they cross points for human rights."
He stressed that "the situation in Iraq needs a lot of care for human rights," calling for the United Nations "positive intervention to put an end to the suffering of the Iraqi people dear."
For her part, Balskhart expressed her happiness over this meeting, which increased her knowledge of the depth of the suffering of the Iraqi people.

It always seems that we put our value system into other societies. The Arab society does not think like or act like we do, no matter how much we interact. Elected officials are duty bound to their families first then the rest in declinating order. They do not give a happy shit about the common man. If Saddam were still in power, he would have gunned down the protesters the first day and stopped any more from happening.
