The Committee on Culture, Tourism and Antiquities in the House of Representatives and the Parliamentary Integrity Committee discussed with the Minister of Finance ways to promote the sectors of tourism and antiquities and overcome obstacles to their development.

The head of the Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Committee, Mrs. Samia Al-Ghalab, and the Head of the Integrity Committee, Mr. Thabet Al-Abbasi, met with the Minister of Finance, Mr. Fouad Hussein, at the ministry's headquarters, in order to develop mechanisms and plans for the promotion of these sectors.

Mrs. Al-Ghallab stressed the need to provide facilities by the ministry to develop the tourism sector and draw up government programs to rehabilitate tourist facilities and attract tourists to make it one of the most important sectors that return financial returns to the state treasury, noting that the antiquities sector and ways to return smuggled antiquities were among the priorities of the paragraphs of the meeting.
