US Ambassador Matthew Toller stressed the US commitment to post-ISIS recovery in Anbar and other affected provinces.

This came during the presence of Ambassador Toller to lay the foundation stone for the school Abdul Rahman Nasser in Habbaniyah within the grant of the US government, a $ 100 million stability financing fund for Anbar province.

"This program will restore essential services such as water, electricity, sanitation, health, housing and education, which are the foundation for economic development," the US embassy said.

He also announced a new $ 500,000 grant to Anbar University to restore its potential to provide students with opportunities to develop educational and vocational skills.

"The United States is committed to creating the right conditions to allow displaced people to return to their areas of residence and rebuild their lives," he said, calling on "elected Anbar officials, tribal leaders and citizens to reintegrate all Iraqi IDPs into their communities and who wish to return to their areas of residence."
