The governor of Nineveh Mansour al-Maraid, on Tuesday, the allocation of 130 billion dinars to complete projects related to the development of the reality of the educational sector in the cities of the province.

Al-Maraeed said in a statement seen by Al-Iqtisad News, "Allocating an amount of 130 billion dinars to implement projects related to the development of the educational sector and to address the shortcomings in this sector and work to achieve them according to a long-term strategic study and objective vision."

Al-Maraeed pointed out that "there is a huge shortage in schools to accommodate students after the destruction of many educational facilities, especially schools that will be rehabilitated after the completion of the reconstruction plan procedures and the approval of the federal ministries."
