I bring you some brief news today.

Published this week was “An Economic Manifesto for Iraq”
By Dr Amer K. Hirmis. It is of course just more opinions. If you read the plan is sounds reasonable. But I did not bring this plan to you today for many reasons. One reason is that they always talk, talk, talk and talk even more of what they should do and it never gets done. Yes, they know exactly what must get done but the corruption is so high in the government they can not ever execute on it at the level they need to make any real progress.

So, my point is - they need to kick off the currency reform, get rid of the currency auctions and openly trade their currency on the global markets. They know it and we know it. So why has it not yet been done? It is way overdue!

I don’t want to sound like a broken record but there are billions of $$$ being make off of NOT doing the currency reform. They also need to convert the economy so that the banks could make revenue by other banking practices and ween off the currency auctions as their sole source of revenue. This has been done already with the POS, ATM fees, loans and other common banking practices put in place by the CBI. But sucking on the proverbial “tit” of the auctions is too good to give up. Finally putting more control over the dinar into the hands of the IMF is not good for the corrupt and we know who the corrupt are. They are a mix of deep state and Iranian backed Shiites. I will not get into the necessity to get rid of Iranian influence. We all should know by now we were warned of a vacuum ensuring post ISIS war. So now we see this vacuum filled with Iranian militia. Can the diplomats convince somehow Iran to withdraw these militia? At the very least give up their weapons and be incorporated into Iraq society.

So, here we sit and wait and wait. Will these demonstrations pan out for us investors? Will this finally be the breaking point of these corrupt officials to give up the currency?

What can we do in the meantime?
We can pray that this is the final straw that will break the camels back. God has a plan only we can’t yet see it. Just like what is going on in Iraq we also see this massive corruption in the US government with this constant narrative by the deep state backed democrats against our president. This is another narrative I have covered so much already and do not wish to get into the details again. I will say that as far as this Ukrainian conversation goes everything the US president Trump has said to the Ukrainian president was in line what exactly he should be doing as president of the US and is in-fact his responsibility to do. It does not matter if Joe Biden is running for president or not. In-fact this only makes it even more critical that they get to the bottom of exactly who really made conflict of interest demands to Ukraine? Didn’t slippery Joe actually come out with a boastful video of admitting his own guilt? Why is he even allowed to continue to run for the office of presidency in the first place? So anything that happens after this even is in fact, Trump asking for clarity over this dealings with Joe Biden and Hunter Biden is already a moot point. This is his job as president. Oh – but of course the democrats don’t want to tell this part of the story….do they?

So there is no crime committed and will be no final outcome of any legal impeachment over this issue.

The democrats know they can’t win an impeachment over this Ukrainian issue and so now they head over to the Roger Stone. They must try to somehow connect Roger Stone’s refusal to lie under oath about Trump to their satisfaction that they will try to hang him out to dry. Yes, we are now hearing all kinds of bad stuff about Roger Stone and how he is so bad. Folks there are no crimes here to connect to the president. Yes, but the democrats will try.

NATO WILL NOT INTERVENE AND ARE NOT CURRENTLY ADVISING IRAQ

The outgoing commander of the NATO mission in Iraq, General Danny Fortin, said on Thursday that his mission would not provide advice and help the Iraqi authorities in dealing with the current protests in Iraq.
"We have not intervened and are not currently advising on local issues that are currently going on in Iraq," Canadian General Danny Fortin told reporters.

"The mission of the NATO mission is to train and we want this to be clear," he said. For his part, General Fortin said the most important objective of the NATO mission is to build a long-term partnership between NATO and Iraq.
The NATO mission in Iraq, which began its work in October last year, confirmed successes in building this partnership.

RESULTS: COUNCIL OF MINISTERS HELD ITS REGULAR SESSION ON TUESDAY, CHAIRED BY PRIME MINISTER ADEL ABDUL MAHDI

AL-MARBID PUBLISHES THE FULL WORD OF THE PRIME MINISTER AFTER HIS MEETING WITH THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS AND GOVERNORS

Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi said in a speech after a meeting with the cabinet and governors on Tuesday that the demonstrations that began since the beginning of October are correct and that they have been accumulated errors since 2003 until now.

"In the recent elections, we observed a low percentage of participation because of the gap between the public and political forces," Abdul Mahdi said, declining to introduce a new election law to allow the independents.
He pointed out that “the pressure of the demonstrations led to push towards accepting bills that existed but were shelved.

(Mnt Goat – Did you read this last sentence? This is the most powerful and thoughtful statement in his speech. It is true too! As investors we should not be in such a hurry to see Mahdi go. Think, think, think of the negative as well as the positive ramifications. Mahdi resigning is NOT a good thing. It could lead to yet another vacuum and only make things worse for Iraq and us investors. Do you want the RV sooner than later? So, calm down and wish for whatever is the BEST solution and let God guide them. Don’t be in such a hurry to judge.)

PM MAHDI SAYS NEED TO SPEED UP THE COMPLETION OF THE 2020 BUDGET
